Prompt, caring support...
Appointments
Any person can make an appointment to meet with one of our Psychologists. Medical referrals are not required*.
Typically, we will schedule between 1 and 3 sessions to gain a full picture of each client (depending on the age and issue) and gather as much background information as is necessary. We then give direct and understandable feedback of what the needs and priorities are, along with recommendations of how best to proceed. |
When making an appointment, you can discuss this process with your Psychologist. If necessary, we are able to bring in other advanced qualified and experienced consultants for specific assessments and, or, interventions that might follow. Counselling, coaching and other consulting or support is done face-to-face but may be negotiated via phone or email appointments if appropriate.
* Medicare rebates are available for eligible Psychology consultations. In these cases a medical referral is required. Please refer to the page on fees for more information.
